The rope, leash or safety lanyard is used to secure the person swimming on the SUP to the board. The construction of a SUP leash, is very simple – it is a rope that ends on both sides with fasteners. One of the fasteners attaches to the metal D-ring eyelet located on the board – on the other side there is a band, which is fastened to the ankle. Thanks to it, our board will not float away when we fall into the water. Leash is practically indispensable when swimming on waves, and on calm bodies of water it greatly improves our safety.
